Known by the Salish Natives as "S-cheet-oos”, the place of high cliffs, Point Defiance Park is an environment of unique geological structure and protected old-growth, which serves as a reminder of the rich natural beauty and cultural heritage in the Puget Sound lowlands. While the park is made up of four separate regions, these photos explore the two most untouched, the forest and waterfront. Featuring my beautiful girlfriend Payton, and our little golden girl, Hazel.
