Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transform Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence
“Americans used to be called ‘citizens’. Now we are ‘consumers’.”

In 9 steps, Vicki Robinson proposes a plan to help you become financially independent and reclaim your life. While good advice for the financially illiterate, I found the writing scattered and the book basic and repetitive. Comes across as a mix between finance and self help, but the worst of both.
I was hoping Robinson was going to dive deeper into the science behind the psychology of money or provide some actual early retirement investment strategies. Instead she just listed the basics of frugality which could have been summed up in a short blog post. Disappointed.
